Louisiana Economic Development is the cabinet level state agency responsible for supporting existing businesses, attracting new companies to the state and building a more vibrant economy for Louisiana through government programs and incentives.

LED’s Office of Business Development team works with company executives and business location advisors from every industry sector to promote Louisiana’s unique business advantages, robust infrastructure and financial incentives including LED FastStart, the state’s customized workforce development solution.

LED administers programs and incentives for businesses of all sizes to promote growth, ranging from financial incentives for large industrial expansion projects to mentorship programs for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
